Hi! Are you looking for a spiritual director, or curious about what spiritual direction is all about? If so, please take a look around! You can read more about my take on spiritual direction here, but in a nutshell, it’s a space for you to explore your own sense of God or the divine, whatever that might look like for you. The term “direction” can be misleading; it’s not about having someone tell you what to do, or interpret God for you. Rather, a spiritual director is someone who accompanies you, who listens and asks questions and makes observations, and above all, who is curious with you about where God might be speaking to you. (For this reason, some people prefer the term “spiritual companion.”)
You can follow the links on the top to learn a bit more about me, and how I approach this work. Some of you might be interested in my notes for Latter-day Saints (current or former), Episcopalians, grad students and academics, and people reconstructing their faith. But whatever your background, if you are interested in spiritual direction, I’d love to hear from you!
P.S. If you are like, spiritual whatever, I’m just here for the hiking photos, go here!
